Copper River | Alaska

The fishing families of south-central Alaska are independent, small business owners dedicated to longterm sustainability of wild salmon stocks, the environment and our way of life. Their passion not only preserves the livelihood of local fishing families, but also ensures an abundance of future generations of wild salmon.

Rising out of the Copper Glacier in the untouched wilderness of southcentral Alaska, the Copper River Delta is one of the last intact watersheds in the world - turbid glacial water flowing through the majestic Wrangell and Chugach Mountains to the central coast where it empties into the Gulf of Alaska. This is where the fishery is located, and where they sustainably harvest the world’s finest salmon.

There’s not one thing that makes Wild Alaskan Copper River King, Sockeye, and Coho Salmon different—there are many. Deep color. Silken texture. Rich flavor. The Copper River difference is in the extra fat these fish store to sustain their arduous, upriver journey to the stream where they were born.
